Turn Completed Jobs Into Reviews, Repeat Business and Referrals

Every finished job is worth more than the invoice. Asked at the right moment, the same customer becomes a public review, a repeat booking and a referral — asked never, they become someone who has forgotten your name.

Most owners do not have a review problem. They have an asking problem — the job wraps up, everyone is happy, and nobody says a word about it in public.

A system asks every eligible customer, at the moment they are most likely to say yes, and makes leaving an honest review take seconds rather than effort. Then it keeps the connection alive so the next job is a reminder away rather than a rediscovery.

Who this is forService businesses that do genuinely good work and have far fewer reviews than jobs to show for it — and anyone whose repeat business depends on the customer remembering to call, rather than on anything being sent to them.

Where it fits

The Return stage of your customer journey

This is the stage most businesses never build, which is why it is usually the cheapest place to find growth. We connect it to the work already done — the search presence and website a new customer checks, and the reviews that decide whether they trust it — so the customers you have already earned feed the ones you have not met yet.

How it works

Four steps, done with you

1

Free Audit

We look at how many reviews your work has actually produced, when customers hear from you after a job, and where the asking stops.

2

Write the Messages

We write the request and the follow-up in your voice, and agree the timing that fits how your jobs finish.

3

Set Up & Test

We connect the request path, test it end to end, and make sure leaving a review takes seconds on a phone.

4

Monitor & Refine

We watch what people respond to and adjust the timing and wording as the pattern becomes clear.

What you get

What is standard, and what depends on your package

Asking for reviews and staying in touch is the core of the service. Campaign-style work — reactivating a quiet list, running referral pushes, recovering non-responses — belongs to specific packages or is scoped individually.

Standard with this service

  • Consistent review requests to eligible customers after completed jobs included in the approved workflow.
  • Timed post-service follow-up
  • A convenient path to an honest Google review
  • Follow-up reminders on unanswered requests
  • Customer-retention communication
  • Message creation, testing and monitoring
  • Ongoing refinement of timing and wording

Depends on package, usage or scope

  • Seasonal and service-based reminders
  • Repeat-booking prompts tied to your service cycle
  • Past-customer re-engagement campaigns
  • Referral-request campaigns
  • No-response recovery sequences
  • Additional reputation and retention support
  • Connections to a tool you already use, where BX has confirmed it can support it

Timing and implementation steps are confirmed in your proposal after the audit, and depend on the approved scope. Scope, investment, service terms and next steps are clearly outlined before any work begins.

How we ask, and what we will not do

Every eligible customer in the approved workflow gets the same request and the same review path, and we ask for honest feedback — not good feedback. Requests go only to customers you have permission to contact, and every message includes a clear way to opt out. We do not screen customers before asking, route unhappy ones away from the public form, write reviews, remove legitimate negative ones, or offer anything in exchange for a rating. Those tactics break platform rules and they are the kind of thing that is found out. What we can promise is that the asking happens consistently. We cannot promise a number of reviews, a star rating, repeat bookings, referrals or revenue.

Questions

Reviews and retention FAQ

Can you guarantee more five-star reviews?

No. We make sure every eligible customer in the approved workflow is asked, consistently and at the moment they are most likely to respond, which is the part most businesses miss. What they write is up to them, and we would not want it any other way.

What happens when someone had a bad experience?

They are asked the same as everyone else. A negative review you can see is information you can act on, and a business that answers one well often reads as more trustworthy than one with nothing but praise.

Do you filter out unhappy customers before the request goes out?

No. That practice is review gating, it breaks the rules of every major review platform, and we do not do it. Every eligible customer in the approved workflow gets the same request and the same review path.

How does re-engaging past customers work?

Reminders based on the service and the season — the maintenance visit coming due, the checkup a year on, the thing you know they will need again. How far this goes depends on your package and approved scope.

Do you run referral campaigns?

Referral requests can be included or scoped separately depending on your package. They go to customers who have already had a good experience, and they ask rather than offer anything in return.

What do you need from me to set this up?

A way to know a job is finished, and a basis to contact that customer — usually a name plus an email address or mobile number. We only message customers you have permission to contact, and every message includes a clear way to opt out.

Is all of this included in every package?

No. Review requests and retention support are part of Customer Connect, included from Web Foundation up. Reminders, no-response recovery, reactivation and referral campaigns sit in Business Multiplied or are scoped individually.
